Acerola — Acerola is a potent antioxidant with a natural source of Vitamin C along with other vitamins such as vitamin A, thiamin, riboflavin and niacin. Recent studies have also shown promise in acerola’s ability to lower cholesterol and aid in fighting against cellular aging.
Astragalus — The extract of the astragalus root has been highly regarded for enhancing the immune system due to its high content of polysaccharides and saponins.
Bilberry — A powerful antioxidant, bilberry is rich in anthocyanins which appears to offer significant vision benefits by aiding in the delivery of oxygen and blood to the eyes.
Citrus Extract (PMF’s) — Standardized to 30% PMF’s, including Nobiletin and Tangeretin, these unique flavones are naturally found in Bitter Orange (Citrus Aurantium). PMF’s have been shown to lower cholesterol and may have inhibiting effects on breast and colon cancer.
Ginkgo Biloba — The two main components found in ginkgo biloba — ginkgo flavone glycosides and terpene lactones — are believed responsible for its medicinal effects. Ginkgo flavone glycosides are primarily responsible for its antioxidant properties and are believed to provide effectiveness in treating the brain and central nervous system. Terpene lactones are associated with increased circulation and nerve cell protection.
Grape Seed — Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC’s) contained within grape seed have been known to inhibit enzymes such as collagenase, elastase, and hyaluronidase that are involved in the breakdown of structural components of human skin. Grape seed has also shown promise in improving circulation and helping to strengthen blood vessels.
Green Tea 50% Caffeine — Natural caffeine from green tea has longer lasting effects than that of synthetic caffeine. This extract is used for weight management and other formulas where an all-natural ingredient declaration is needed or desired.
Green Tea 50% EGCG – EGCG is a powerful antioxidant in green tea responsible for multiple health benefits including thermogenesis stimulation, cancer prevention and anti-tumor effects, prevention of tooth decay and protection against LDL cholesterol from oxidative stress, which can lead to atherosclerosis. Some studies indicate weight loss and a noticeable reduction in appetite in rats injected with green tea containing EGCG.
Green Tea Debittered ( SynerTea™ ) — Debittered green tea is a solvent-free extract, high in antioxidant polyphenols, is bitterless, tasteless and has a lighter color and better clarity. SynerTea™ can be used in food, beverage and nutritional products.
Guarana — The Brazilian herb, guarana, has been used for hundreds of years for increased energy performance and has several cosmeceutical and nutraceutical applications. The seeds of this plant contains high levels of caffeine and also contains theophylline and theobromine.

Lycium Berry — Also known as lycii and wolfberry, lycium is high in polysaccharides and is known for its antiaging properties. This extract contains many important phytonutrients such as betaine, vitamin A, B1, B2, C, calcium, phosphorus, iron, zeaxanthin, physalein and linoleic acid. These nutrients are needed for the proper functioning of cells, tissues and organs.
