Goji Berry Liquid Supplement

Matsun Nutrition is the contract manufacturer to talk to if you need a goji berry liquid supplement

The goji berry (also known as the wolfberry) is the fruit of two species of boxthorn shrub, Lycium barbarum and Lycium chinense, both of which are native to Asia. The goji berry has been used in traditional medicine for centuries, but it was only in the early 2000s that the berry gained mainstream attention among Western audiences. Goji berries are most notably harvested in China, specifically in the regions known as Ningxia and Xinjiang, where a couple hundred thousand acres are dedicated to cultivation and harvest. Traditionally, dry goji berries are cooked and then consumed, generally alongside traditional Asian dishes like rice congee, tonic soups, and various meat and herb dishes. Goji berries are also used in a Chinese wine called gŏuqǐ jiŭ, which has been consumed since the Han dynasty (which lasted from 206 BC—220 AD). Matsun Nutrition can manufacture the goji berry liquid supplement of your choice!

Goji berries can now be found in myriad products, including juices, teas, smoothies, and energy bars. For good reason, too; goji berries contain many useful nutrients, including essential trace minerals (notably selenium and zinc), antioxidants, amino acids, complex carbohydrates, essential fatty acids, calcium, potassium, iron, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin A (beta-carotene), and vitamin C. A quality goji berry liquid supplement naturally provides these important nutrients.

While goji berries are used in many products for their interesting taste, they are chiefly promoted as being conducive to good health. There is not much scientific evidence to support the use of goji berry to treat or prevent health conditions, but goji products are used for mental well-being, athletic performance, high blood pressure, eye problems (see vitamin A), diabetes, fever, dizziness, lower back pain, and even cancer (presumably because of the constituent antioxidants, which fight cell damage). Goji berries’ efficacy is uncertain, and more definitive clinical trials are needed before goji products can be confidently recommended as a means of treatment for any health conditions. The FDA specifically prohibits supplement manufacturers from claiming that goji berry supplements can treat, prevent, or cure any diseases or conditions.
